How do you truely love yourself?

How do you express self love? Do you go out and not give a damn about what people think? Wear a shirt because its your favorite shirt in the whole entire world? Even if the shirt is a little bitt tight you wear it anyway? Not caring what people think and putting aside that itty bitty little voice in your head that tells you your being judged by others? You love yourself by not caring what people think. You love yourself by knowing that it is YOUR life, you are in control and by knowing that no matter what you do, you are the only one that can truly make yourself happy.

So many times you see women that are stuck in these relationships that just make them miserable. But they dont realize that they dont need to stay in these awful relationships that do more harm then good. We as women do not need a man to make us happy. I believe whole heartedly that in order to love someone else you must know how to love yourself.  If you don’t understand your self, your needs, your wants, what makes you happy, how can you possibly try and show someone else? It’s impossible.

If you are not comfortable in your own skin, how can you let someone love it. If you shudder or think negative every single time you look in the mirror, how does some else telling you that your beautiful change that? It doesn’t. You will never think your beautiful unless you believe it. How do you believe, how do you change this mindset? How do you go from being so umcomfortable in public to not caring, to thinking that you are the queen of your universe. And only you.

First, you take baby steps. You start the beginning of every day with a cup of coffee. Or tea or whatever it is that gives you the opportunity to sit back and give you a peace of mind. You start your day by thinking that its going to be a good day, and that even if it goes wrong, its going to be okay because you tell yourself that its a bad day, not a bad life.

Second, present your self as truly as possible. Dress yourself up the way that makes you feel like you are wearing your own skin. And if that means make up, then wear make up. If that means that your tired of wearing make up because you only do it ecause its what every other girl does, go barefaced. Go natural even if you’re scared, it he’s you realize that people do see you and they notice you, it makes you feel unique. Because even if that “something looks different” comment is said, don’t think of it as its a bad thing. Think of it as wow. They see me and they noticed and pay enough attention to me that they were able to tell that difference. You are seen even when you don’t realize it.
It’s. All. About. The. Mindset.

Booted and $120 short

I hardly ever have boring days. Yes my life as a whole may be boring but, i have some really interesting days and crazy moments. So to speak, this morning when I got out of class early I walked backed to my car to go and get my headphones. As I’m walking I see that a car has been booted from a far. Sure enough, I get closer to realize that said car is MY CAR. At this point you can guess what i was feeling. Stupid, dumb, and many more relatable words.

It is funny how something catch up to you. I had 2 parking tickets from the prior school year. As in 2015- 2016 school year. Oh well, lessoned learned right? At one point or another it was going to have to be paid and because I waited so long it came back bit me in my ass and learned the hard way.

Just because this happened does not mean its the end of the world. Yes at the moment it felt like very hard loss and in some ways it is because as a result more stress is presented a far a money but, I had every opportunity to pay it and avoid the additional boot fee. So in life we learn (and in science) that with every action has an equal or opposite reaction. So if you’re wondering, is she really going to relate a shitty parking ticket situation to something deep and philosophical. Yes. Yes she is. Every single mistake, wrong choice, or bad decision is a lesson and a lesson that can be learned and prevented in the future. What was the lesson here? Don’t be irresponsible and forget to pay your parking tickets.

Some days just turn into “those days” and you become inspired or something.

Have you ever had something type out and it just disappeared? That just happened here. Here’s another question have you ever just had one of those days that make you just want to give up and scream and cry and gives you the bright idea to start a blog or writing to help you from going insane? No? Just me? Okay, well. Here you are reading this, my sad attempt to try and figure out what I’m good at. Obviously its not writing. But I will try and stick it out, for a person that is alone 90% of the time maybe this will do me some good.
